We are a specialist care agency providing bespoke support for children and young adults with disabilities in Herts and Bucks.
What we do.
SKCA (formerly Special Kids Care Agency) was created in 2004 in response to a pressing need for a dedicated care agency for children and young adults with disabilities. Deliberately, we have kept ourselves small so that we can ensure a personal, high standard of care and we are delighted that some of the children we took on in those early years are still with us as young adults today. Our agency manager, Liesl, is herself the mother of a daughter with cerebral palsy so knows first-hand the challenges families face in getting reliable, consistent and high-quality care. We also understand that flexibility is key and so our packages are tailored completely to both the family and young person’s needs and we work tremendously hard to find ‘just the right match’ for you.
“Our aim is to help make life better both for the young person and for you, their families. Please call us on 07802 376896 and find out how we can help you .”
‘Thank you for providing such a wonderful service. It has enabled me to enjoy all the hobbies that I love.’
‘Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity you have given me over the past year. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the agency & absolutely adored all the kids I helped.’
‘I’m sure you already know (and everyone I’ve worked with has been lovely) but Bella was so great to work with. She knew exactly what she was doing, really cared for Joe and was very friendly. It’s so nice to work for an agency with such lovely people!’
‘Sam thinks all your care workers are great, never had even the smallest problem with anyone in all the time we’ve been using your Agency. Indeed they are more like friends who help out as far as Sam is concerned.’
‘We would like to thank you all for being there for us when we needed support. We would highly recommend your agency.’
‘Thank you all so much for being such an important part of our lives over the past 13 years. We literally wouldn’t have been able to manage without you!’
